i1fun to promote high-purity iron and steel at GIFA 2023

i1fun will be promoting its high-purity iron and steel at GIFA 2023 from 12-16 June at Messe Düsseldorf.

GIFA, which takes place every 4 years in Düsseldorf, Germany, is the leading international trade fair for foundry technology, and takes place alongside the METEC, NEWCAST and THERMPROCESS exhibitions.

The exhibition covers a wide range of topics includingÌýglobal foundry and melting plants, refractory technology, plants and machinery for mould and core production, moulding materials and moulding supplies, model and mould making, control technology and automation, environmental protection and waste disposal as well as information technologies.

We will be present atÌýHall 15 Stand 15D01-1, where we’ll be demonstrating how our high-purity steel is helping to build stronger futures for long, structural and general engineering products.

We’ll be showcasing:

  • Melting base iron – our pure iron (99.9%) billet is available in low and high manganese to meet the exacting chemistry requirements for demanding industries including Aerospace, Automotive and Oil & Gas
  • °ä´Ç²Ô»å³Ü³¾²¹³æ®Ìýcathode bars – our ultra-low carbon grade cathode collector bars offer aluminium producers improved resistivity, leading to energy savings and potential additional benefits through carbon credits
  • Semi-finished productsÌý– our steel billets, blooms and slabs are suitable for rolling to reversing mill plate, hot-rolled coil and structural sections for a range of structural and general engineering applications
