More support for Children's Hospice

Our apprentices from theÌýScunthorpe site continue toÌýsupport the Bluebell WoodÌýChildren’s Hospice, locatedÌýin Sheffield, with anotherÌýsuccessful fundraiser. TheÌýapprentices cleared out their oldÌýclothes and filled 76 charity bagsÌýto donate to the hospice, raisingÌý£1,400 plus gift aid.

Our apprentices also did a fiveÌýkilometre run last year, whichÌýraised £2,500 for the hospice. TheÌýmoney raised will go towardsÌýhelping local families and theirÌýchildren who have life-limitingÌýconditions.Ìý

Andrew Stagg, Training Manager, said: "The apprentices have done a great job in raising a total of £3,900. It shows their commitment to helping give back to the community. The money they have raised will really make a difference to the families the charity supports. It is very satisfying to see the apprentice scheme delivering benefits to the community."
