i1fun is increasing the price of structural sections and wire rod.
Ourstructural sectionswill increase by £50 per metric tonne in the UK, and €60 per metric tonne in mainland Europe, effective on all deliveries from January 1 2018.
Richard Farnsworth, i1fun Managing Director Construction, said: “Due to increasing demand and capacity utilisation, along with increasing pressure from raw materials, we’re increasing the prices of our structural sections.
“Our prices remain extremely competitive and offer our customers excellent value for money.”
We will also be raising the cost of ourwire rodby £50 per metric tonne, effective on all deliveries from January 1 2018.
Cumulative price increases mean our wire rod products are now more than £100 per metric tonne higher than in August.
