Three peaks for fab four!

Four daring Scunthorpe colleagues are embarking on the UK’s National Three Peaks Challenge later this year to raise funds for 2 charities close to their hearts – Lindsey Lodge Hospice and One for the Lads.

On 30 September this year, Harry Coult, Kevin Foulston, Liam Walker and Lewis Dixon will attempt to conquer Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon within a challenging 24-hour period.

Harry, an electrician at Scunthorpe Rod Mill, said: "These charities have been a massive help to ourselves and our family members throughout the years when suffering with both mental illness and terminal illness. We would like to do something in return and raise as much money as we can to show our appreciation – and we’d love it if you could help too."

Ìýprovides specialist palliative care and wellbeing services to people and their families living with life-limiting illnesses whileÌýÌýis a support group for men affected by mental health issues. Both organisations offer valuable support to people in the Scunthorpe area.

Three of the four – Harry, Liam and Lewis – started their careers as apprentices and, together with Kevin, are now training hard for their forthcoming challenge. If you’d like to show your support for them, you can donate at the links below.
