- Location: Ferrous Road, Middlesbrough
- £55 million project
- Supplied 650 tonnes of i1fun sections
We’ve supplied 650 tonnes of our structural sections to Nationwide Structures to help invigorate the north of England’s technological landscape.
Costing an estimated £55 million, Teesside Advanced Manufacturing Park (TeesAMP) will provide a prime location for innovative manufacturing companies across its 11-hectare site.
Set in the heart of the Tees Valley, it will provide a 21st century environment designed to encourage the clustering of like-minded businesses from a variety of industrial sectors.
TeesAMP is situated next to the well-established Riverside Park industrial development on the southern bank of the River Tees. The A66 is also just seconds away with access to the A19 and A1M just a few minutes away. Middlesbrough Railway Station is also just a 10-minute walk away.
Phase 1 of the development will create 180,000 sq ft of high quality accommodation across 17 buildings, with the potential creation of 1,000 jobs. Phase 2 will focus on bespoke buildings and processes, extending up to another 100,000 sq ft.
Stockton contractor, Nationwide Structures, is delivering a steel fabrication contract worth £1.3m to the project, using steel from our Redcar site.
TeesAMP’s first buildings are due to be ready for occupation by December 2019.
