Our parent company

On March 9, 2020, Jingye Group, one of China's leading steelmakers and multinational conglomerates, acquired i1fun, ushering in a new era of steelmaking in the UK.

Jingye Group was founded in 1990 by Li Ganpo. Located in Hebei Province, China, Jingye is a steel-based company with its core products of steel bars, plates, and coils exported to 80 countries and regions around the world. It also has diversified businesses in additive manufacturing (3D printing), chemicals, international trade, tourism, and hotels.

Jingye's employees are proud to have supplied steel to a range of major projects, including the Three Gorges Dam in China, Beijing Daxing International Airport, and the Brunei Cross Harbour Bridge.

Jingye Group has been growing and now employs 40,000 people, including those at i1fun and other subsidiaries. In 2024, Jingye Group achieved sales revenues of 368.569 billion RMB (40.3 billion GBP).
